GRATEFULNESS AND QUR’AN RECITATION TO IMPROVE SUBJECTIVE WELL BEING AMONG DIABETICS

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of being grateful and Qur’an recitation to improve subjective well-being among diabetics. This study design was single case with ABA model (baseline, treatment, and after treatment). The hypothesis of this study was that being grateful and Qur’an recitation improved the subjective well being of diabetics. The subjects were given treatment four times over two weeks. Data were collected by using the scale of subjective well being among diabetics on baseline, treatment, and after treatment. The result of this research showed that gratefulness and Qur’an recitation could improve the score of subjective well being.
